The Royal Private Hospital & Walk In Medical Centres | The medical treatment you deserve in Paphos
The team at The Royal are genuinely passionate about their work and fully committed to providing exceptional private medical care here in Paphos.
The facilities at their main hospital (just off the Debenhams Roundabout) are amazing.
They are also on hand to help you at their convenient walk in clinics in Pissouri Village and at the brand new Theo Royal Medical Centre which has recently opened on the busy Paphos to Coral Bay Coast Road (near the Altantica Hotel / David Mitchell’s Motor Store).
We were surprised to learn just how many British staff members are working at the hospital and delighted to find out all the doctors, consultants, surgeons, nurses, lab technicians and more all speak fluent English (and rather impressively, many other languages too).
There is a caring and family atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door and Dr Theo, who is the proud and experienced Medical Director, told us the team at The Royal have been taking care of thousands of visitors and local residents for over 25 years.
He is proud of the facilities and his team.

None of us enjoy a visit to the doctor, dentist or any kind of hospital treatment or test, but if you do require any medical attention (urgent or preventative), knowing there is a genuine team of people who care, speak your language and really want to help get you better again is priceless.
We love their commitment to quality medical care.
Take for instance their in-house lab. They have 3 Lab Directors and experienced technical staff to cover any questions or needs. The lab is open 24/7 and ISO certified (International Organisation for Standardisation) which means the lab must work to incredibly high and regularly checked standards.
Lab services on offer include almost every possible test you could imagine and as the vast majority are performed in-house, the results are available very quickly.
Further, if you own a restaurant or cafe and require food and water testing, the lab at The Royal is perfectly placed to provide the services you need.
We are also very impressed with their Dialysis treatment facility, which is available to residents and holidaymakers at a reasonable cost.
The unit offers dialysis to patients from all over the world, which means people requiring this essential treatment can safely travel to Cyprus for a holiday and enjoy their vacation while having peace of mind regarding their medical needs.
The unit is located within The Royal Private Hospital, just five minutes from the main Paphos tourist area and a plethora of hotel choices. The unit also offers qualified and experienced multilingual staff and the latest technology dialysis machines.
For additional safety, there is always a nephrologist doctor in the place, and their qualified nurses have all received special education and training for haemodialysis.
We could write so much more, but our advice is to call in and have a chat about any medical concerns you may have and find out how The Royal can assist you.
The Royal are more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Call (00 357) 26 961 600 and their receptionist will direct your call the most appropriate member of the team.
The main hospital is opposite Debenhams on the ring road (take Geroskipou exit) and their medical centres are on the Paphos to Coral Bay Coast Road near The Atlantica Hotel and David Mitchell’s Motor Store, or in Pissouri Village.
Alternatively, take a look at their comprehensive website.
